QUOTES

STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM, NOW WE'RE HERE!!

It's not where you're from, it's where you're at.

It's not where you start, it's where you finish.

There's a beginning, a middle and an end.

Started from the bottom, now we're here.(#DRAKE)

NO SHADE, NO DIGS, NO CHEAP SHOTS...JUST MERE OBSERVATIONS!!

What does Jimmie Walker affectionately remembered as "JJ" and Jay Leno have in common?

Give up? Are you sure? Ok, I'll tell you.

They were both on the show GOOD TIMES. Yes, Jay Leno was on 1 episode of GOOD TIMES...had a speaking role too. Time tells all doesn't it. Back then "JJ" was thee STAR of the show...while Jay Leno appeared as a Day Player(which means on set for a day only)!!!

Fast forward a couple of decades and Jimmie Walker is not nearly as recognizable as JAY LENO, who is now a household name as an American comedian, actor, writer, producer, voice actor and television host. Leno was the host of NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2009.

What about Andre Harrell & Sean "Diddy" Combs ?

Well, as many may know, "PUFF DADDY" back then, used to work for Andre Harrell as an executive at Uptown Records in the late 80's until early 90's...and in more recent years, Andre Harrell has been working for DIDDY. You just never know how things will turn out. Yet another reason why it's important to be kind to people and humble too because it aint over til it's over.

Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Adam Sandler?

Unless you were born and raised under a rock for the last 3 decades you know who these guys are! We know this cool cat in the hat on the left as "Theo Huxtable" from The Cosby Show and the hilarious guy on the right made a few appearances on The Cosby Show as Theo's friend. The one episode that comes to mind was when they all went to the prom. YUP...that was Adam Sandler. While "Theo" was in everyone's living room every week for "FOREVER", turns out Adam Sandler has made quite the name for himself on the BIG screen as an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, entrepreneur, film producer, and musician. Not too shabby, huh?

Raj, Rerun & Martin Lawrence?

Did you know that Martin Lawrence appeared on several episodes of "What's Happening Now"? That's right, he did indeed. You, like many, probably thought his show "Martin" was the first time he ever graced the television. No, everybody starts somewhere and very seldom...if ever, does anyone start out with their very own television show but if that's your reality, WHOOP WHOOP!! I aint mad...lol.

Just a little food for thought in the form of perspective...perception & reality.

1. Always be kind to others. The rewards are lasting, whether you know them or not. You never know who you're talking to or what your kindness has afforded someone.

2. Be a great mentor. You may be in a position that others would love to be in. Nurture, educate, and support others because you never know...who you mentor today could very well end up being your boss tomorrow.

3. Enjoy your moments. They are precious and fleeting. Here one second, gone the next. Relish in them and appreciate them.

4. Don't fill up off of arrogance. Leave plenty of room for humble pie.

5. Never underestimate the power of a great network.

6. Never put others down. You could very well be the star of the show but never high hand those who aren't because they're people too, who have feelings the same as you and they may be the ones who, in what appears to be the blink of an eye, give you an opportunity or throw some work your way.

THINK. RECOGNIZE. ASPIRE. LEARN. BUILD. ACHIEVE. SUCCEED.

I wish us all the very best of everything!! I hope you're proud of you. I'm proud of me.

xoxo,
