We all had so much fun and our audience was filled to the brim with great energy and enthusiasm that they expressed generously throughout the night. They laughed, cheered out loud and felt moved...What could be better?!!

 

Well the only thing that I could think of that would possibly make the evening better would be to have great food to pair with it and you know what?!! WE DID!! The FOOD was AMAZING!!

For those who wish they could have been in the building with us I'll give you a quick recap:

 

I(Mahoghany) played GAYLE...a married woman with a teenage son who's having problems in her marriage due to the fact that her club going, cursing, smoking and drinking husband ROBERT(Brian Keith) has recently decided to leave that life behind and instead, give his life to Christ thanks to the incessant coaxing from his single Christian sister LYNDSEY(Dameron Hughes)...causing a major rift in their marriage because GAYLE is not the least bit interested in changing her partying lifestyle.  

 

 

Along for the ride is our "UNSAVED" friends BENNIE & MONICA(Derrell G. Owens & Janeva Sharps) who soon come to a crossroads in their marriage as well, due to ROBERT'S "Come to Christ" convincing.

 

 

Meanwhile ROBERT & GAYLE's handsome, athletic son KEVIN(Jeremiah) finds himself caught in the middle, fearing that his parents may get divorced & makes a few poor choices of his own.

 

 

All in all it was nonstop energetic relatable fun and it was my pleasure to be part of such a great cast & a positively wonderful evening!! What a sensational way to bring in the new year...me doing what I love and having the time of my life!! #WINNING #2015 #ISTAYREADY
