Well I personally know all about that. If you've ever been on stage performing or ever had to make a presentation at work, coach a team, raise a family, build a house, heal a patient, sew a garment...
You get where I'm going with this don't ya?
YOU GOT SKILLS!!! & YOU LOVE TO BE RECOGNIZED FOR THEM!!
& you're thinking "What's wrong with that?"
Well in my humble opinion(lol) NOT A THING!!!!!!
As human beings we are reward oriented, so it stands to reason it's quite natural to want to hear praises in some instances for a job well done. Often times FAME comes into play...no matter the scale...and some of us(Not you per say...lol) get a tad BIG HEADED. Ut oh, you may have just entered the danger zone.
It's important to be confident in life period but it's especially important to be confident when in these competitive fields. Confidence will often times make all the difference between landing an opportunity of a lifetime or losing one.
The problem comes in when you start to be so invincible in your own mind that you start believing that you are infallible and when that happens "LOOK OUT!!"
It's important to remember the giver of every good gift...
It's important to remember that imperfect man are very fickle...
& it's also equally important to BEWARE OF CONCEIT...
it's light years from HUMILITY!!
That said...
Go out there, do your BEST & when the compliments & blessings start to flow...remember to pause for the cause and say THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
